Our all-encompassing Electric Portable Air Compressor (EPAC) is a railroad-ready solution designed to make railcar air compression a simpler process. Containing both a Chicago Pneumatic air compressor and PRODRY desiccant air dryer, on-site railroad air compression has never been easier, no matter the weather.
The EPAC has both a rotary screw compressor and air dryer contained within a shipping container, allowing it to be placed by a forklift anywhere that electricity is available. Perfect for railroad sites or anywhere else where you need a consistent and powerful supply of air. Different models of Chicago Pneumatic air compressors and Walker PRODRY desiccant air dryers can be used in combination to ensure your air supply needs are met.
The product we developed in 2014 was a containment area for an air dryer that would be coupled to a diesel portable air compressor this product was a result of people in both mining and the railroad industry trying to buy portable compressors that would not deposit water downline of the compressor. As a result of these calls we went to work to attempt to couple a portable drying system to a portable compressor it was a complete success and today, we have more than 40 of these in the field today at work keep water out of the areas it doesn’t belong in.
Through the process of time and development we have been able to achieve a very efficient way to attach these dryers to the compressor with a moderate expense to the end user.
Our goal was to improve the quality of the air so that all the air ran through the package would be useful downline in a safe and water and oil free environment. This product was named DPAC diesel portable air compressor we have always manufactured this with the mind set that in our harsh candian winters that the water containment would not freeze up. All our packages are heated and designed around working in harsh environments.
These are all built custom with our customer in mind that said if anything needs to be added to the package such as hose reels lighting and whatever our customers may need to be happy and safe in their environment we have to capacity to build it and add it to the DPAC compressor.
We are required to make variety of custom items to go with our packages and to this degree we have a fab shop complete with welders and electricians and some plumbing as well to ensure that whatever our clients need we can produce.
That said in most cases whatever our clients have needed we have either been able to purchase it on their behalf or manufacture whatever in take to make the product more useful and valuable.
Screw compressors provide a solution when a constant demand for air is required. Using a rotary screw element, air is efficiently compressed in a stable flow. We offer two types: variable speed drive and fixed speed drive screw compressors.
